About BOTOX® Cosmetic at IVme
Forehead lines, crow’s feet and frown lines between the eyebrows can leave you looking worried, angry or tired even when you’re feeling great! IVme has been offering BOTOX® Cosmetic injections since 2013 to help soften these lines and restore your natural and youthful appearance.
BOTOX® Cosmetic is FDA-approved to temporarily make moderate to severe frown lines, crow’s feet and forehead lines look better in adults.
A combination of factors can cause facial lines. It’s not just about the cellular changes that may occur, or reduction of collagen, or damage caused by free radicals from the sun and the environment. Repeated muscle contractions from frowning, squinting, or raising eyebrows cause skin to furrow and fold, gradually resulting in the formation of facial lines.
BOTOX® Cosmetic temporarily relaxes the underlying muscle activity to help facial lines look visibly smoother.

The below chart gives an approximate range of the amount of BOTOX® needed to treat common concerns. You may require more or less BOTOX® than what’s listed here, but this is a good starting point to get a ballpark idea.

First, select a practitioner you trust.
Prior to your appointment, limit alcohol consumption for 2 to 3 days and stop blood thinners such as aspirin, Ibuprofen, vitamin E and fish oil for 14 days (if it’s okay with your general practitioner).
After your appointment, avoid tight hats and headbands, working out, and laying flat for 4-6 hours. You can also use ice packs before and after your treatment.
Visible results have been shown to last up to three months. Your own results may vary.
BOTOX® Cosmetic is not a permanent treatment. If you discontinue treatment, “expression lines” will gradually return. Be sure to talk to us about what you can expect and when to schedule your next appointment.
Although the results are visible, BOTOX® will not radically change your facial appearance or make you look as if you’ve “had work done” given treatment is performed by an experienced provider.
