Important Update on Supply Chain Challenges and IV Therapy Adjustments
Dear IVme Friends and Family,
We want to inform you about a temporary but important change to our IV hydration therapy services due to supply chain disruptions caused by Hurricane Helene.
Our longstanding and trusted supplier, Baxter, and their team in North Carolina were heavily impacted by last week’s storms. While they work to support their employees and restore local infrastructure, they have resumed shipments to hospitals and dialysis centers for critical care. They’re also working hard to activate alternate supply channels for the rest of their customers. Until those are fully operational, IVme will have limited access to IV hydration fluids.
We know from past experiences in 2012, 2018, and 2020 that this situation is temporary. As we keep Baxter’s team in our thoughts, we’re also taking steps to do what’s best for area hospitals, our communities, and our patients.
Effective immediately, we will be making the following adjustments:
- We will continue to offer the highest level of care for our existing patients. In some cases, we may recommend alternative treatments that do not require IV fluid bags such as a Myers’ Push, Glutathione Push, NAD+ intramuscular shot, and Tri-Immune intramuscular shot.
- The following IV treatments will be temporarily unavailable:
- Hydrate Me IV
- Energize Me IV
- Immune IV
- To ensure we can serve as many patients as possible, all IV therapies will be limited to one bag per session.
- The following promotions will be paused: BOGO Athletic IV and $99 for first-time IVs. As a substitute, we are offering the Myers’ Push for $99.
We understand these temporary adjustments may cause some inconvenience, and we deeply appreciate your understanding and flexibility as we navigate this together. Rest assured, these changes will help us maintain our services for everyone while ensuring that our healthcare community can continue to provide critical care where it is most needed.
