Hormone Replacement Therapy

Do you struggle with low energy, weight gain, forgetfulness, or low sex drive? If you’re in your mid-30s, 40s, or older with any or all of these symptoms, you’re not alone. As we age, our hormone levels start decreasing, resulting in an imbalance that can cause fatigue, weight gain, joint pain, sleeplessness, depression, anxiety, and a host of other symptoms that we often associate with getting older.

Traditional medicine focuses on treating these symptoms, but sometimes at the risk of other complications or providing only temporary relief. Here at IVme Wellness + Aesthetics, we’re helping our patients take charge of their health and restore their youthful lifestyle with access to the best of advanced medicine. Our top patient-recommended treatment is hormone replacement therapy. Hormone replacement therapy gets your hormones back in balance, restores your youthful energy, and helps you return to an active, healthy lifestyle.

My Best Years Are Ahead Of Me

“Since college, I’ve missed just one annual trip with my two best friends. That was last year due to a health scare. Fortunately, it turned out to be a false alarm, but not before I read everything I could get my hands on about healthy living after 50. I kept running across literature about hormone replacement therapy. I was skeptical, but also curious so I went for a free consultation with Dr. Jack. I left with an appointment to get started the following week. It’s been almost a year since I started natural hormone replacement therapy and I feel (and look!) the best I have in 15 years. It’s truly transformed my life.”

Frequently Asked Questions

Who is BioTE Medical?

BioTE® Medical is a hormone optimization and medical training company. They partner with medical providers to take a complete approach to healthier aging through patient-specific bioidentical hormone replacement therapy and superior nutraceuticals.

What is BHRT?

BHRT stands for Bio-identical Hormone Replacement Therapy, which refers to how molecularly similar the supplemental hormone is to the human hormone. Bio-identical hormones are derived from plants while synthetic hormones are chemically created in the lab using a variety of sources, including animals. It is said that bio-identical hormones work better with the natural chemistry of the body because they most closely replicate the molecular structure of the hormones that naturally occur within the body.

What is BHRT pellet therapy?

BHRT pellets are subcutaneous implants that are inserted into the hip area. (Source:BioTE Medical website) The insertion process is simple, straight-forward, and completed by our BioTE-certified medical staff in our medical wellness centers. Pellets have become a preferred form of administration because they avoid the rollercoaster affect sometimes experienced with pills, creams, and shots. BioTE pellets are effective for about three to six months, depending upon your age, weight, gender and level of deficiency. While treating you with BHRT, we will monitor your symptoms and hormone levels to determine if and when it’s time to repellet. Most patients will repellet about two to four times per year to maintain optimal hormone levels.
