I took the majority of the week off to tend to so many things in the home and my business, but didn’t forget to include a little self care!
Earlier today, I got an NAD infusion.
“NAD+ has emerged as a vital cofactor that can rewire metabolism, activate sirtuins and maintain mitochondrial fitness through mechanisms such as the mitochondrial unfolded protein response.” This was documented in studies. This one happened to be in Cell Metabolism back in 2015.
The above are big words for basically making your body and mind function optimally! I recently sent one of my patients with Alzheimer’s for an NAD infusion. He gained 3 full points on his memory test (MOCA) after 1 infusion!!!
The infusions are not for the faint hearted. Within seconds, you will feel like you are having a heart attack, become short of breath and as if you are going to faint. Not to worry, you can slow the drip down and the symptoms will become tolerable. It is well worth it as only 4 hours later, I am feeling EVEN better (if that is possible!) than I did going in.
The typical course is to do several in a row then to space them out to monthly. Two more to go!
NAD has been shown to: Aid in Addiction Recovery. Reduce Pain. … Improve Cognitive Function. Boost Energy. Improve Athletic Performance. Help with Weight Management. Reverse Signs of Aging. Delay or Prevent the Onset of Certain Diseases.
I am so lucky to know and be friends with Aleesha Fischer who has her chiropractic clinic in the same gorgeous office space as IVME and introduced me to Scott Yilk, M.D. and Medical Director at IVme Wellness + Aesthetics.
