Meet Heather Herrick, Co-Founder of IVme in Milwaukee and Nurse Injector

Heather Herrick has her MSN from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and was a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner at Children’s Wisconsin prior to joining IVme. She has over 10 years of pediatric nursing experience and has worked with cosmetic injectables since 2014. Her passion for helping people look, feel and perform their very best every day led her to take a huge professional leap when she left pediatric nursing to become the co-founder of IVme in Milwaukee’s Historic Third Ward. There is nothing like IVme in the Milwaukee area and the ability to combine her injectables experience with a full suite of IV hydration treatments to help patients achieve their health, beauty and recovery goals all in one spot is a dream come true for Heather. Heather’s patients describe her as detail oriented, empathetic and passionate. Heather attributes her success to focus, her competitive drive, patience, confidence and her ability to think abstractly – the same characteristics that make her a competitive golfer with a 2 handicap.

Heather began playing golf when she was four years old and her love for the sport has only increased over time. She remembers her dad telling her that she couldn’t get her ears pierced until she had her first par. “I really didn’t care about getting my ears pierced, but I’ve always loved a challenge and pushing myself to learn and to improve myself. That’s why bringing IVme to Milwaukee has been so fulfilling. Nursing is very rewarding work – it requires you to be versatile, empathetic and be able to work with people of all ages and backgrounds. Nursing is about building relationships, an area that I excel in. I’m delighted that I will be able to mesh my two passions – nursing and injectables into one world class location.”

Golfing is a male dominated sport and Heather is very comfortable working with men. She has tons of “bro-tox clients”, men that receive BOTOX® treatments and fillers for achieving a natural and more youthful appearance. In the near future, you just may see Heather and the IVme team on your favorite golf course during tournaments – competitive players facing dehydration, aching muscles and in need of energy and a quick recovery are ideal candidates for the Athletic IV hydration treatment.

When it comes to cosmetic injectables, regardless of age or gender, Heather’s specialty is a natural look – enhanced and refreshed, not overdone, is her style. All patients receive an extensive and honest consultation to discuss issues and to customize a realistic treatment plan. “I love that IVme has something for everyone – whether you’re in need of hormone replacement therapy or if you’re vitamin deficient and need a shot, or if you’re an overworked executive that could benefit from an extra dose of vitamins for energy and mental clarity, or if you want to enhance your natural beauty with injectables, IVme is your trusted partner in finding the best solution for your health and wellness goals.”

Heather practices wellness by eating healthy, receiving vitamin shots every other week, an IV hydration treatment once a month and working out with weights. She golfs as often as she can and looks forward to teaching her daughter the sport.
